With a structure similar to that of most American schools (two years of course work followed by two-three years of dissertation research), it offers an unparalleled international context. Our current class of 65 PhDs come from 33 different nationalities. Plus, our dual-campus structure in Singapore as well as France, combined with the INSEAD-Wharton Alliance, offer possibilities in the Doctoral program for experiencing, and working with faculty and companies in Asia, North America and Europe. All accepted candidates receive a full tuition waiver and a generous stipend to cover living expenses for the 4-5 years of study.In addition, the program emphasizes multidisciplinary research that cuts across the arbitrary boundaries that exist between business disciplines. These disciplines are represented by the specialization fields: Decision Sciences, Finance, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Production and Operations Management, and Strategy and Management. INSEAD PhDs are very active in research, in academic journals as well as at conferences in their area of specialty. Our graduates are pursuing academic positions in premier universities throughout the world.
